Brent founded Better Roads with a simple but uncompromising belief:
that lasting freedom is possible when men are given structure, truth, accountability, and a clear path forward.
After years of walking with men through addiction, brokenness, and recovery, Brent saw the need for more than short-term solutions. Better Roads was built to provide real homes, real brotherhood, and real transformation—rooted in discipline, responsibility, and Christ-centered restoration.
Better Roads exists to help men rebuild their lives from the ground up—learning how to live sober, lead themselves well, and become men who contribute to their families, communities, and the Kingdom of God.
This work is not about quick fixes. It’s about forming men who choose the harder road—the better road—day by day.

Hayden Woods
Hayden Woods serves as the Executive Director of Better Roads, overseeing the vision, structure, and daily operations that support long-term transformation for the men in our homes.
With a background in leadership development, discipleship, and organizational building, Hayden is focused on creating systems that bring stability, accountability, and clarity—so transformation isn’t left to chance. His role centers on strengthening the foundation of Better Roads: building teams, developing leaders, and ensuring that every house operates with consistency, excellence, and purpose.
Hayden believes that real change happens through disciplined structure, meaningful relationships, and a Christ-centered life formed over time. His passion is helping men move from survival to responsibility, and from recovery to leadership—equipping them to rebuild their lives and walk the better road forward.
